Motivated by fairness and inclusiveness in student-athlete NIL monetization, the paper defines design requirements and three design principles - randomized royalty-paying collectible sales (inclusiveness), market-driven royalties (meritocracy), and blockchain as marketplace infrastructure - realized via NFTs and smart contracts.
